We Serve
John Wesley, founder of Methodism, said,
"Do
all the good you can, By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can, In all
the places you can,
In all the times you can, To all
the people you can."
We at
Community United Methodist Church, in its nearly 100 years of
ministry in the Dayton area, have always been concerned with serving
all
people in many different ways. We respond to Jesus' message
that
whenever we fed the hungry, clothed the naked, took in the sick, and
visited the prisoner, we served Him in the same manner Matthew 25:
35-40.
We Tutor

Community
UMC joined with several
churches in the area to tutor children in Kemp School from grade one
through grade six.
This
is a wonderful opportunity to help children grow intellectually.
By showing love to the children, they also grow spiritually.
