HISTORY OF COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH - 1910 TO 1980
This short history of Community United Methodist Church covers approximately 70 years of the history of what is known now as the Community united Methodist Church.1. The first section, The People's Church, was prepared by Mrs. H.E. Palmer, a co-founder of the church. Mrs. Palmer's story is unusual in that the house in which the church started is telling its story.
2. The second section is a short history, prepared by John Center, and covers the early history of the church from 1910 to 1969.
3. The third section was prepared by the Rev. Millard Knowles and covers approximately the 1970's and 1980's.
